CONFLUENT TECHNOLOGIES TO RELEASE POWERFUL NEW VERSION OF THEIR IQ SOLUTION

Several new features will be included in the 5.0 Release

Louisville, KY – April 11, 2005 - Confluent Technologies, a leading provider of Data Driven Decision Making Solutions, is now testing the new 5.0 release of their IQ Technology. Most of the new features are designed to make the user experience easier and more expansive.

Building from the strong success of their existing IQ solutions, the new release will include:

• IQ Favorites – Powerful and easy new method for saving analysis secessions
• Browser Driven Interfaces with Imbedded Training – Easy and flexible new user interfaces that also allow users to train themselves as time permits
• Advanced Graphing – Dynamic new graphing systems that include navigational capabilities
• Advanced Data Export – Many new export formats and styles are now possible including Excel, PDF, HTML, and XML

IQ 5.0 will be available this month to a restricted group of customers, with wide release this fall.
